Our goal is to
double our current capacity and accommodate fifty children and ten teachers. We know the
need is great; we are forced to turn away more and more children each year. The plans call
for a state-of-the-art facility which, in addition to the preschool, will provide a place
for everyone to gather and be embraced by the Hawaiian language. This Family Language
Resource Center will offer after-school instruction for siblings, evening classes for
parents, inter-generational programs, and use of a multi-purpose room by other Hawaiian
language-based groups.
