Aloha,

On November 10th and 11th this year, Halau Hula Ka Makani Kili’o’opu will be participating in the Hula o Na Keiki competition at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel.  Our keiki have been preparing for two years.

We will be entering five youth from our Halau in this competition, and would like to ask for your kokua and support to make this a wonderful experience for them.  We are actively involved in fundraising for this event, and we are also looking for sponsors and/or donations to help with the many expenses.

On October 7, 2000, we will be having a silent auction at the Kaahumanu Shopping Center.    This has been a very successful event in the past, and there are several events planned for the mall that day.  We are asking for donations of items that we can place in our silent auction.  This is an opportunity for us to advertise your business and services and raise money for our keiki.

If you would like to donate items for our silent auction or would like to assist with a monetary donation or sponsorship, please contact me at 242-5699.

Mahalo for your time and interest.

                                          Sincerely,

                                         Luana Kawa’a, Kumu Hula
